1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, continuing as a guest or otherwise using CareerPilot (the "Service"), operated by Avanteia ("Avanteia", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

CareerPilot uses artificial intelligence to ask you questions about your education, skills and interests and to generate a career roadmap, job-role suggestions and course recommendations, including courses offered by Avanteia and, where relevant, courses from other providers.

3. AI guidance is informational

Roadmaps, salary ranges, job roles and course suggestions are generated by AI and are general guidance only. They are not a guarantee of admission, employment, income or any outcome, and are not professional, legal or financial advice. Please verify important details such as fees, eligibility and salaries before making decisions.

4. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and verify your email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18, or use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• provide false or another person's information,
• attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, or access other users' data,
• use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful or abusive,
• try to bypass security or rate limits.

6. Courses and third-party links

Avanteia courses are offered on avanteia.com and may have their own fees and terms. Recommendations from other providers link to or search on third-party sites that we do not control; their content and terms are their own responsibility.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, branding and content belong to Avanteia or its licensors. You may use your own roadmap for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy or resell the Service or its content.

8. Privacy and your data

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can withdraw consent or ask for your data to be corrected or erased at any time by contacting us.

9. Availability and liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avanteia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on AI-generated guidance. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

12. Governing law and contact
